Cancellation, Credit & Charter Policies

 

Your Charter Reservation

Your charter reservation secures the vessel, captain, and scheduled time exclusively for your group. Because this time cannot typically be rebooked on short notice, all deposits are non-refundable and cancellations are subject to the policies below.

By completing a booking and submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Deposit

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

Customer Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before the scheduled charter will receive a credit toward a future booking.

  • Credits must be used within 12 months of the original charter date.

  • Full refunds may be considered by management on a case-by-case basis.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the scheduled charter will not receive a refund, but may receive a credit toward a future booking (excluding the deposit).

Credit Policy

  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the original charter date.

  • Credits may be applied toward any available future charter date.

  • Credits are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

  • Guests are responsible for any price differences when rebooking.

Weather Policy

Charters operate rain or shine. If the captain determines weather conditions are unsafe (such as lightning, severe storms, or high winds), the charter may be rescheduled or issued a credit toward a future booking.

Light rain or cloudy conditions do not qualify for cancellation or refund.

Late Arrivals & No Shows

Charters begin and end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not receive additional time beyond the reserved charter period.

Guests who fail to arrive for their scheduled charter will be considered a no-show and will forfeit the booking without refund or credit.

Guest Conduct

The captain reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund if any guest engages in unsafe, illegal, or inappropriate behavior.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the vessel or equipment during the charter and must follow all captain instructions for safety.

Agreement to Policy

By booking a charter with Throwback Charters, guests acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these policies.

How to Cancel or Request a Credit

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or modify your booking.
